Proxy Squid for Windows

Huff, sudah sekian lama gak pernah update nih blog coz banyak pikiran di dunia luar sana. Hehe... Nah ini gua mau kasih tau apa yang baru saya tau di google (bingung ngomong'na) yaitu eng.. Ing.. Engg.....!!! SQUID PROXY (Windows Edition). kata’na sih kalo pake Squid Proxy, bisa bkin internetanx lebih cepet coz data pada saat kita browsing akan disimpan di cache milik proxy.

Klo pndapat ane sih fungsi’na sperti cache di Mozilla tpi ya gk tau sih kelebihan’na proxy itu apa w msih blum tau… hehehe… . tapi yang pasti Salah satu dari Kelebihan proxy ini bisa hemat bandwith, jadi Ini menjadi pilihan yahud bagi netter yang internetan’na dibatasi KUOTA. Hoho… Jadi apabila kita browsing di web yang sama secara berulang maka sama saja kita buka web di cache yang ada di computer kita alias hemat BANdWITH.

1 . INSTALL PROXY SQUID with configuration

Pertama donlot dlu apli kashi’na di sini. Kemudian Install sampai finish. Buka Squid.conf (C:\squid\etc). Kemudian hapus semua script yang ada kemudian ganti dengan script dibawah:

Keterangan:

pada cache_mem 384 MB, isi dengan 1 / 4 memori komputer ente.


Langkah Selanjutnya, Buka Command Prompt. Ketik seperti pada dibawah.

To run, start it from the Services Applet of Control Panel.Don’t forget to edit squid.conf before starting it. C:\squid\sbin>squid –O –D Registry stored HKLM\SOFTWARE\GNU\Squid\2.6\Squid\CommandLine value -D

2. Setting proxy di mozilla

Klik menu Tools > Options > Network > Setting. Ganti HTTP Proxy = 127.0.0.1 dengan port = 3128.

3. Jalankan SQUID Proxy

Klik Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services). cari Service Squid, klik kanan truz pilih Start atau langsung klik start seperti gambar dibawah.

Nah skarang coba lo internet’an. Misal’na fesbuk (hehe… mati urip fesbuk rek). Terus lo buka sembarang, maka rasanya seperti internet’an di web local.

Ini udah gua bukti'in sndiri kalo pake proxy rasanya cepet banget... cache pada mozilla di komputer gua set = 0 , coz cache di mozilla gak dibutuhkan lagi kan udah ada cache proxy. Iya toh?? Happy Surfing ^_^
